Béji Caïd Essebssi a envoyé ses émissaires en Mauritanie et en Algérie afin d’apaiser la tension entre les deux pays qui les a poussé à rappeler leurs ambassadeurs.
BCE aurait demandé aux deux pays de se réunir autour d’une seule table de travail afin de remettre les choses dans l’ordre et résoudre tous les problèmes dans un cadre amical.
