Les Douanes algériennes et mauritaniennes ont discuté lundi à Alger des voies et moyens à mettre en place dans le domaine de la lutte contre la contrebande, a indiqué le directeur général des Douanes algériennes Mohamed Abdou Bouderbala.
"La lutte contre la contrebande est un élément fondamental dans la coopération douanière algéro-mauritanienne du fait des frontières communes et d'une zone de contrebande dangereuse", a dit M.Bouderbala qui s'exprimait en marge d'une réunion tenue avec son homologue mauritanien le général Dah Ould Hamady Ould El Mamy qui effectue une visite de trois jours en Algérie.
Pour sa part, le responsable mauritanien a fait savoir que son déplacement enAlgérie à la tête d'une délégation vise à "bénéficier de l'expérience douanière algérienne dans plusieurs volets dont la lutte contre la contrebande".
Aussi, il est question dans le cadre de cette coopération de former des cadres et autres catégories du personnel douanier mauritanien.
