Une crise profonde frappe actuellement le transport public, en raison du manque cruel de minibus, dont la majorité ont été loués par l’Union Pour la République (UPR), le parti au pouvoir, pour acheminer les adhérents pour participer aux opérations d’investiture en cours, sur toute l’étendue du territoire mauritanien.
C’est aujourd’hui difficile pour les voyageurs individuels et collectifs de trouver des minibus pour effectuer leurs déplacements réguliers.
Une situation qui a paralysé sérieusement certaines lignes routières qui étaient desservies jusqu’à une date récente, par ces moyens de transport public rapides et confortables.
