Des Sénégalais pêchant dans les eaux mauritaniennes ont été arrêtés par les garde-côtes dimanche dernier, avant d’être reconduits à la frontière avec le Sénégal.
28 pêcheurs sénégalais ont été reconduits à la frontière avec le Sénégal lundi soir. En effet, pris en flagrant délit de pêche illégale la veille, par les garde-côtes mauritaniens, ces pêcheurs qui s’adonnaient à la pêche artisanale, activité strictement interdite aux étrangers ont été alpagués.
Ces pêcheurs étaient au départ, au nombre de 36. Mais les 8, plus chanceux que leurs compatriotes, ont été relâchés alors que les autres étaient renvoyés au Sénégal. La pêche artisanale a été interdite à tous les étrangers depuis janvier 2017.
