Le ministre des Affaires islamiques et de l'Enseignement originel, M. Ahmed Ould Ehel Daoud, s'est entretenu, dimanche à Djeddah enArabie Saoudite, avec le ministre saoudien du Hajj (Pèlerinage), Dr Bandar Ibn Mohamed Hajjar.
Cette rencontre, qui entre dans le cadre des préparatifs de la prochaine saison du pèlerinage, a permis de déterminer un quota de 2692 pèlerins pour la Mauritanie.
Les entretiens entre les deux ministres ont porté également sur l'évaluation de la prestation de la Mauritanie quant à l'organisation du pèlerinage passé. A ce propos, les deux parties n'ont eu à relever aucune remarque négative.
