Huit militaires maliens ont été tués lundi dans le nord-ouest du pays au cours d’une embuscade tendue par la rébellion à dominante touareg, a appris l’AFP de sources concordantes.
« Lors d’une embuscade tendue lundi matin entre Tombouctou et Goundam à l’armée malienne par les rebelles de la Coordination des mouvements de l’Azawad, il y a eu huit militaires tués et plusieurs blessés », a indiqué sous couvert d’anonymat le responsable d’une ONG de la ville proche de Tombouctou. Le bilan a été confirmé par une source sécuritaire malienne, faisant état d’au moins huit morts et dix blessés.
