Un responsable du mouvement armé jihadiste Al-Morabitoune, de l’Algérien Mokhtar Belmokhtar, a annoncé l’allégeance de ce groupe à l’organisation Etat islamique (EI) dans un enregistrement audio diffusé par l’agence mauritanienne privée Al-Akhbar.
« Le mouvement Al-Morabitoune annonce son allégeance au calife des musulmans Abou Baqr al-Baghdadi, bannissant ainsi les divisions et les dissensions au sein de la Nation », affirme en arabe Adnan Abou Walid Sahraoui dans cet enregistrement écouté jeudi par l’AFP. Al-Akhbar a assuré avoir authentifié la voix comme étant celle de M. Saharaoui, ce qui n’a pu être immédiatement confirmé à l’AFP par d’autres sources.
