Un nouveau bilan a été obtenu sur le dernier et dramatique effondrement d’un puits d’orpaillage, sis dans le secteur de prospection de l’usine aurifère Tasiast.
Trois (3) orpailleurs sont décédés sur le champ, tandis que 4 autres ont été blessés. Transportés à l’hôpital Chami, où ils ont bénéficié de soins préliminaires, ces derniers en sont sortis quelques heures après. Ils ont même repris leurs activités ordinaires.
Plusieurs informations confuses avaient circulé après ce terrible drame, survenu dans le même puits, qui avait couté la vie auparavant à plusieurs prospecteurs.
