Les autorités sécuritaires mauritaniennes ont arrêté dimanche près de Nouadhibou une embarcation avec à bord 53 immigrants illégaux en partance pour les Iles Canaries.Dans une déclaration à l’AMI, le directeur de la surveillance du territoire à la direction générale de la sureté nationale, commissaire principal El Ghassem Ould Sidi Mohamed a indiqué que ce groupe a été appréhendé alors qu’il était sur sa route vers les Iles Canaries tandis que le commandant de l’embarcation, qui a pris la fuite, fait toujours l’objet de recherches par les services de sécurité.

 

Le commissaire a ajouté que chacun des membres de ce groupe avait payé au passeur 1000 euro, relevant que les personnes appréhendées seront rapatriées dans leur pays d’origine.
