Le président de l'Union Pour la République (UPR), le parti au pouvoir en Mauritanie, Me Sidi Mohamed Ould Maham, s’est réuni dernièrement avec l’ex leader du Rassemblement National pour la Réforme et le Développement Tawassoul (RNRD), M.Abderrahmane Ould Sabbar.

 

L’ancienne figure islamiste avait occupé par le passé le poste de fédéral de Tawassoul au niveau de la Wilaya du Hodh Gharbi, comme il était le candidat à l’Assemblée nationale pour cette formation aux législatives de 2014.

Ould Sabbar qui a salué les acquis réalisés sous le Président mauritanien Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, a annoncé au terme de cette rencontre, sa démission de Tawassoul et son adhésion à l’UPR.
