Répondant à la question orale d’un député vendredi, le ministre mauritaniens des affaires économiques et du développement,Sid’Ahmed Ould Raiss, ex gouverneur de laBanque Centrale de Mauritanie (BCM), a déclaré que les perspectives de croissance de l’économie se situent entre 4,5 et 5%, en dépit d’un contexte mondial morose. 

Le Ministre des Affaires Economiques et du Développement est également revenu sur les performances de l’année 2014, expliquant que « l’inflation a été contenue à 3,5%, le compte du trésor public auprès de la Banque Centrale de Mauritanie(BCM) est créditeur de 30 milliards d’ouguiyas (soit plus de 110 millions de dollars us) et les avoirs en devises se chiffrent à 897 millions de dollars us ».

Cette enveloppe couvre plus de six (6) années d’importations.
