La date limite de remise des offres du projet hydro-électrique deKoukoutamba a été repoussée du 16 septembre au 15 décembre 2016. Une entreprise devra être sélectionnée pour la conception, la fourniture, la construction et la mise en service de ce grand projet situé sur le fleuveBafing en République deGuinée.
Promotrice du projet, l’Organisation pour la mise en valeur du fleuve Sénégal(OMVS) reste engagée dans son processus de revalorisation du potentiel hydroélectrique commun aux quatre pays (Sénégal, Mali, Mauritanie et Guinée) membres.
Signe de l’asséchement des liquidités au sein de l’Union Européenne, ce projetPPP ne suscite l’intérêt d’aucun groupement issu de cette zone. Les candidats viendraient plutôt de la Chine et du Brésil.
