 La commission mixte mauritano-européenne de pêche s'est réunie mardi à Nouakchott sous la présidence conjointe du conseiller du ministre des pêches et de l'économie maritime chargé de la surveillance maritime, M. Cheikh Ahmed Ould Baya, côté mauritanien, et de M. Roberto Sazary,chef département conventions internationales à la direction générale des pêches de l'Union Européenne (UE).

La rencontre, de trois jours, s'inscrit dans le cadre des réunions périodiques tenues par la commission à Nouakchott et à Bruxelles pour le suivi de l'accord de pêche entre la Mauritanie et l'UE.

La réunion discutera plusieurs questions relatives à l'appui sectoriel fourni par l'UE au secteur de la pêche et le suivi de la réunion de la commission scientifique mixte au mois de septembre dernier.
